N ow the pit in which Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was the same which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with those that were slain.

La cisterna a la que Ismael arrojó los cuerpos de todos los hombres que mató a causa de Gedalías, era la misma que había hecho el rey Asa a causa de Baasa, rey de Israel. Ismael hijo de Netanías la llenó de muertos.
