T hen Jeremiah took another roll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire, and there were added besides upon them many like words.

И така, Йеремия взе друг свитък и го даде на писаря Варух, Нириевия син, който записа в него от устата на Йеремия всички думи на книгата, която Юдейският цар Йоаким беше изгорил в огъня; а към тях бяха прибавени и още много подобни думи.
