Jeremiah 25:29 ~ Giê-rê-mi-a 25:29

F or, Behold, I begin to bring evil upon the city which is called by my name, and should ye only be absolved? Ye shall not be absolved, for I bring the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, said the LORD of the hosts.

Vả, nầy, ấy là thành kia là thành được xưng bằng danh ta, mà ta bắt đầu xuống tai vạ; còn các ngươi, há khỏi hình phạt được cả sao? Không! các ngươi sẽ không khỏi hình phạt đâu; vì ta sẽ sai gươm dao đến trên mọi dân cư trên đất, Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán vậy.
