H e that abides in this city shall die by the sword or by the famine or by the pestilence, but he that goes out and falls to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his soul shall be unto him for a spoil.

Kẻ nào cứ ở lại trong thành nầy sẽ chết bởi gươm dao, đói kém, và ôn dịch; nhưng kẻ nào ra khỏi, đi sang cùng người Canh-đê, tức người đương vây mình, thì sẽ sống, và sự sống mình sẽ làm của cướp cho mình.
