Jeremiah 2:8 ~ ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 2:8

T he priests did not say, Where is the LORD? and those that handled the law did not know me; the pastors also rebelled against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and walked after things that do not profit.

«لَمْ يَقُلِ الكَهَنَةُ: ‹أينَ اللهُ ؟› وَالَّذِينَ يَعرِفُونَ الشَّرِيعَةَ لا يَعرِفُونَنِي. الرُّعاةُ أخطَأُوا ضِدِّي، وَالأنبِياءُ تَنَبَّأُوا بِاسْمِ البَعلِ، وَالباقُونَ ذَهَبُوا وَراءَ أُمُورٍ لا تَنفَعُ.»
