T hen he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock to cause a fall to both the houses of Israel, for a snare and for a net to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Para os dois reinos de Israel ele será um santuário, mas também uma pedra de tropeço, uma rocha que faz cair. E para os habitantes de Jerusalém ele será uma armadilha e um laço.
