S hake thyself from the dust; arise and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Scutură-ţi ţărîna de pe tine, scoală-te, şi şezi în capul oaselor, Ierusalime! Desleagă-ţi legăturile dela gît, fiică, roabă a Sionului!
