Ecclesiastes 4:8 ~ Ecclesiaste 4:8

I t is the man who is alone, without a successor, who has neither son nor brother; yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity and sore travail.

uno è completamente solo e non ha né figlio né fratello, eppure la sua fatica non ha fine e i suoi occhi non sono sazi di ricchezze. Ma non si chiede: «Per chi mi affatico e mi privo di ogni bene?». Anche questo è vanità e una fatica penosa.
