A nd the magicians of Egypt did the same with their enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart hardened itself, and he did not hearken unto them, as the LORD had said.

And the scribes of Egypt did so with their sorceries; and Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, neither did he hearken to them, as Jehovah had said.
