R emember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy slaves, to whom thou didst sware by thine own self and hast said unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall take it for inheritance for ever.

Lembra-te de Abraão, de Isaque, e de Israel, teus servos, aos quais por ti mesmo juraste, e lhes disseste: Multiplicarei os vossos descendentes como as estrelas do céu, e lhes darei toda esta terra de que tenho falado, e eles a possuirão por herança para sempre.
