W hen thou takest the number of the sons of Israel after the sum of them, each one shall give a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou dost number them, that there be no mortality in them because of numbering them.

«Quando farai il conto dei figli d’Israele, facendo il censimento, ognuno di essi darà al Signore il riscatto della propria vita, quando saranno contati; perché non siano colpiti da qualche piaga, quando ne farai il censimento.
