W hen fires are lit and in burning the thorns burn also the stacks of sheaves or the standing grain, or the field is consumed; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

Si un feu éclate et rencontre des épines, et que du blé en gerbes ou sur pied, ou bien le champ, soit consumé, celui qui a causé l'incendie sera tenu à un dédommagement.
