F or the LORD will pass through smiting the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood upon the lintel and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over that door and will not allow the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Denn der HERR wird umhergehen und die Ägypter plagen. Und wenn er das Blut sehen wird an der Oberschwelle und den zwei Pfosten, wird er an der Tür vorübergehen und den Verderber nicht in eure Häuser kommen lassen, zu plagen.
