T hus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword and slaughter and destruction and did what they would unto those that hated them.

وَهاجَمَ اليَهُودُ أعداءَهُمْ بِالسَّيفِ، وَقَتَلُوهُمْ وَأهلَكُوهُمْ وَفَعَلُوا بِهِمْ كُلَّ ما يُرِيدُونَهُ.
