A nd Haman told Zeresh, his wife, and all his friends all that had befallen him. Then his wise men and Zeresh, his wife, said unto him, If Mordecai is of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.

Contó luego Amán a Zeres, su mujer, y a todos sus amigos, cuanto le había acontecido; sus consejeros y su mujer Zeres le dijeron: —Si ese Mardoqueo, ante quien has comenzado a declinar, pertenece a la descendencia de los judíos, no lo vencerás, sino que caerás por cierto delante de él.
