A nd he read in the book before the plaza that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

Egli lesse il libro sulla piazza che è davanti alla porta delle Acque, dalla mattina presto fino a mezzogiorno, in presenza degli uomini, delle donne e di quelli che erano in grado di capire; e tutto il popolo tendeva l’orecchio per sentire il libro della legge.
