T here was nothing in the ark except the two tables which Moses put in it at Horeb, with which the LORD had cut a covenant with the sons of Israel when they came out of Egypt.

Il n'y avait dans l'arche que les deux tables que Moïse y plaça en Horeb, lorsque l'Éternel fit alliance avec les enfants d'Israël, à leur sortie d'Égypte.
