T herefore, he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age; he gave them all into his hands.

El Señor lanzó contra ellos al rey de los caldeos, que en el templo de su santuario mató a filo de espada a sus jóvenes, sin perdonar a jóvenes ni doncellas, ni a anciano ni decrépitos, sino que a todos los entregó en sus manos.
