A nd the LORD sent an angel who cut off all the mighty men of valour and the captains and the princes in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And as he entered into the house of his god, those that had come forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

Il Signore mandò un angelo che sterminò nell’accampamento del re d’Assiria tutti gli uomini forti e valorosi, i prìncipi e i capi. Il re se ne tornò svergognato al suo paese. Come fu entrato nella casa del suo dio, i suoi propri figli lo uccisero là con la spada.
