S o the posts went with the letters from the hand of the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye sons of Israel, return unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.

Les coureurs allèrent avec les lettres du roi et de ses chefs dans tout Israël et Juda. Et, d'après l'ordre du roi, ils dirent: Enfants d'Israël, revenez à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Abraham, d'Isaac et d'Israël, afin qu'il revienne à vous, reste échappé de la main des rois d'Assyrie.
