W ith all this Edom remained in rebellion, out from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Libnah also rebelled at the same time to not be under his hand because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.

E até hoje Edom continua independente de Judá. Nessa mesma época, a cidade de Libna também tornou-se independente, pois Jeorão havia abandonado o Senhor, o Deus dos seus antepassados.
