a nd in all the cities he put shields and spears. He fortified them greatly, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.

وَوَضَعَ فِي كُلِّ مَدِينَةٍ تُرُوساً وَرِماحاً وَحَصَّنَها. وَأبْقَى رَحُبْعامُ قَبِيلَتَي يَهُوذا وَبَنْيامِيْنَ وَمُدُنَهُما تَحْتَ سَيطَرَتِهِ.
