A nd David said, Solomon, my son, is yet young and tender, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be magnificent par excellence, of fame and of glory throughout all lands; I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

Porque dizia Davi: Salomão, meu filho, ainda é moço e tenro, e a casa que se há de edificar para o Senhor deve ser magnífica em excelência, de renome e glória em todas as terras; eu, pois, agora lhe farei os preparativos. Assim fez Davi grandes preparativos antes da sua morte.
