A nd moreover yesterday and the day before yesterday, when Saul was king, it was thou that led out and brought in Israel; and the LORD thy God hath said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.

Autrefois déjà, même lorsque Saül était roi, c'était toi qui conduisais et qui ramenais Israël. L'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a dit: Tu paîtras mon peuple d'Israël, et tu seras le chef de mon peuple d'Israël.
