A nd as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. So Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

Enquanto Geazi contava ao rei como Eliseu havia ressuscitado o menino, a própria mãe chegou para apresentar sua petição ao rei a fim de readquirir sua casa e sua propriedade. Geazi exclamou: “Esta é a mulher, ó rei, meu senhor, e este é o filho dela, a quem Eliseu ressuscitou”.
