I f we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there; and if we stay here, we shall die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians; if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

Si decimos: ‘Vamos a entrar en la ciudad,’ como el hambre está en la ciudad, moriremos allí; y si nos sentamos aquí, también moriremos. Ahora pues, vayamos y pasemos al campamento de los Arameos. Si nos perdonan la vida, viviremos; y si nos matan, pues moriremos.”
