A nd he answered, Thou shalt not smite them; would thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and return to their master.

Er sprach: Du sollst sie nicht schlagen. Schlägst du denn die, welche du mit deinem Schwert und Bogen gefangen hast? Setze ihnen Brot und Wasser vor, daß sie essen und trinken, und laß sie zu ihrem Herrn ziehen!
