A nd Elisha prayed and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw; and, behold, the mountain was full of horsemen and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Apoi Elisei s-a rugat zicând: „O Doamne, deschide-i ochii ca să poată vedea!“ Şi Domnul a deschis ochii slujitorului şi el a putut să vadă muntele plin de cai şi de care de foc în jurul lui Elisei.
