A nd Gehazi had gone on before them and had laid the staff upon the face of the child, but there was neither voice, nor attention. Therefore he went again to meet him and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

Ghê-ha-xi đi trước hai người, và đặt cây gậy trên mặt đứa trẻ. Nhưng người chẳng nghe một tiếng nào, cũng chẳng thấy mòi gì sống. Người trở lại đón Ê-li-sê, và thưa cùng người rằng: Đứa trẻ không tỉnh lại.
