A nd Shaphan, the scribe, came to the king and brought the king word again and said, Thy slaves have gathered the money that was found in the house and have delivered it into the hand of those that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.

Luego el escriba Safán se presentó ante el rey y le rindió cuentas diciendo: —Tus siervos han recogido el dinero que se halló en el Templo y se lo han entregado a los que hacen la obra, los que tienen a su cargo el arreglo de la casa de Jehová.
