B ecause Manasseh, king of Judah, has done these abominations and has done more evil than all that the Amorites did, who were before him and has also made Judah sin with his idols;

„Manase, regele lui Iuda, a săvârşit aceste urâciuni, a făcut mai mult rău decât tot ce făcuseră amoriţii înainte de el şi l-a făcut şi pe Iuda să păcătuiască prin idolii lui.
