2 Kings 17:15 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 17:15

A nd they rejected his statutes and his covenant that he made with their fathers and his testimonies which he testified against them, and they followed vanity and became vain and went after the Gentiles that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.

رَفَضُوا شَرائِعَ اللهِ وَالعَهْدَ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ مَعَ آبائِهِمْ. وَلَمْ يَشاءُوا أنْ يَستَمِعُوا إلَى تَحذِيراتِهِ. وَعَبَدُوا أوْثاناً تافِهَةً، وَصارُوا هُمْ أنفُسَهُمْ تافِهِينَ مِثلَها. وَعاشُوا مِثلَ الأُمَمِ المُحِيطَةِ بِهِمْ، عَلَى الرُّغمِ مِنْ أنَّ اللهَ أنذَرَهُمْ أنْ لا يَفعَلُوا ذَلِكَ.
