B ut Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

Ma Jehosceba, figlia del re Joram e sorella di Achaziah, prese Joas, figlio di Achaziah, lo trafugò di mezzo ai figli del re che erano uccisi e lo mise con la nutrice nella camera dei letti; cosí lo nascosero ad Athaliah e non fu ucciso.
