A nd the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in my eyes and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation.

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Jehú: «Has actuado bien al hacer lo recto delante de mis ojos, y acabaste con la dinastía de Ajab, tal y como yo lo había determinado. Por eso tus hijos ocuparán el trono de Israel hasta la cuarta generación.»
