F or thou didst separate them from among all the peoples of the earth, to be thy inheritance, as thou didst speak by the hand of Moses, thy slave, when thou didst bring our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

Pois tu os escolheste dentre todos os povos da terra para serem a tua herança, como declaraste por meio do teu servo Moisés, quando tu, ó Soberano Senhor, tiraste os nossos antepassados do Egito”.
