F or he had dominion over all the region on the other side of the river and from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on the other side of the river, and he had peace on all sides round about him.

وَحَكَمَ سُلَيْمانُ كُلَّ البُلدانِ الواقِعَةِ شَرقِيَّ نَهرِ الفُراتِ، أيْ مِنْ تَفْسَخَ إلَى غَزَّةَ. وَسادَ السَّلامُ جَمِيعَ حُدُودِ مَملَكَتِهِ.
