M oreover thou knowest also what Joab, the son of Zeruiah, did to me and what he did to the two captains of the host of Israel, unto Abner, the son of Ner and unto Amasa, the son of Jether, whom he slew, shedding the blood of war in peace and putting the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins and in his shoes that were on his feet.

Auch weißt du wohl, was mir getan hat Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, was er tat den zwei Feldhauptmännern Israels, Abner dem Sohn Ners, und Amasa, dem Sohn Jethers, die er erwürgt hat und vergoß Kriegsblut im Frieden und tat Kriegsblut an seinen Gürtel, der um seine Lenden war, und an seine Schuhe, die an seinen Füßen waren.
