A nd the news came to Joab, for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he had not turned after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

Ndërkaq lajmi i kishte vajtur Joabit, sepse Joabi kishte ndjekur Adonijahun por nuk kishte ndjekur Absalomin. Prandaj ai u strehua në tabernakullin e Zotit dhe u kap pas brirëve të altarit.
