A nd when King Jeroboam heard the word of the man of God, who had cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

Y cuando el rey oyó la palabra del varón de Dios, que había clamado contra el altar en Bet-el, extendiendo su mano desde el altar, Jeroboam dijo: ¡Prendedle! Mas la mano que había extendido contra él, se le secó, y no la pudo enderezar.
