T hen King Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute, but all Israel stoned him with stones, and he died. Then King Rehoboam made speed to get into his chariot and flee to Jerusalem.

Alors le roi Roboam envoya Adoram, qui était préposé aux impôts. Mais Adoram fut lapidé par tout Israël, et il mourut. Et le roi Roboam se hâta de monter sur un char, pour s'enfuir à Jérusalem.
