T hen David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan, his son, from the men of Jabeshgilead, who had stolen them from the plaza of Bethshan where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa;

acesta s-a dus şi a adus osemintele lui Saul şi ale fiului său Ionatan de la locuitorii Iabeş-Ghiladului (aceştia le furaseră din piaţa din Bet-Şan, unde le puseseră filistenii în ziua când l-au ucis pe Saul la Ghilboa).
