T hen the king arose and sat in the gate. And it was declared unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king sits in the gate. And all the people came before the king, but Israel had fled every man to his tent.

Atëherë mbreti u ngrit dhe u ul te porta; dhe kjo iu njoftua tërë popullit, duke thënë: "Ja, mbreti është ulur te porta". Kështu tërë populli doli në prani të mbretit. Ndërkaq ata të Izraelit kishin ikur secili në çadrën e vet.
