A nd Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David’s brother, answered and said, Do not let my lord suppose that they have slain all the young men, the king’s sons, for only Amnon is dead, for by the mouth of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.

Pero Jonadab, hijo de Simá hermano de David, habló y dijo: No diga mi señor que han dado muerte a todos los jóvenes hijos del rey, pues sólo Amnón ha sido muerto; porque por mandato de Absalón esto había sido determinado desde el día en que Amnón violó a Tamar su hermana.
