T hen the king arose and tore his garments and lay on the earth; and all his slaves stood by with their clothes rent.

فَمزَّقَ الملِكُ داوُدُ ثِيابَهُ وَانْطَرَحَ عَلَى الأرْضِ. كَذَلِكَ مزَّق ضُبّاطَهُ الواقِفُونَ إلَى جانبِهِ ثيابَهُم.
