A nd Amnon was so distressed that he fell sick for his sister Tamar, for she was a virgin, and Amnon thought it difficult for him to do any thing to her.

وَهْيَ عذراءُ. لَمْ يُفَكِّرْ أمنون بِأنْ يُسيئَ إليها، لَكِنَّهُ أرادَها بِشِدَّةٍ. وقَدْ فَكَّرَ بِأنْ يَتَظاهَرَ بِالمَرَضِ مِنْ أجلِها.
