Genesis 50:17 ~ Geneza 50:17

S o shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren and their sin, for they did unto thee evil; and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the slaves of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spoke unto him.

„Iosife, te rog, iartă nelegiuirea şi păcatul fraţilor tăi, pentru că ei ţi-au făcut rău. Iartă, te rog, nelegiuirea slujitorilor Dumnezeului tatălui tău.“ Iosif a plâns când i s-au spus aceste lucruri.
