A nd he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau: Thy slave Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban and stayed there until now;

وَأوْصاهُمْ: «قُولُوا لِسَيِّدِي عِيسُو: ‹هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ يَعْقُوبُ، خادِمُكَ: تَغَرَّبْتُ عِنْدَ لابانَ، وَبَقِيتُ هُناكَ إلَى الآنِ.
