A nd the pastors of Gerar strove with Isaac’s pastors, saying, The water is ours; therefore he called the name of the well Esek, because they strove with him.

entonces los pastores de Gerar contendieron con los pastores de Isaac, pues decían: «Esta agua es nuestra.» Por eso Isaac llamó a ese pozo «Esek», porque habían contendido con él.
