N ow therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son; but according to the mercy that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me and to the land in which thou hast sojourned.

Así que júrame aquí mismo, por Dios, que no me tratarás mal a mí, ni a mi hijo ni a mi nieto, sino que me tratarás con la misma bondad con que te he tratado, y que harás lo mismo con la tierra en la que habitas.»
