A nd he took unto him all these and divided them in the midst and laid each piece one against another, but he did not divide the birds.

فَأخَذَ أبْرامُ كُلَّ هَذِهِ، وَشَقَّها مِنَ الوَسَطِ. ثُمَّ وَضَعَ كُلَّ نِصْفٍ مُقابِلَ الآخَرِ. لَكِنْ لَمْ يَشُقَّ الطَّيرَينِ.
